-2- FUSE BOARD. The two tier fuse and regulator unit can be used if available. At present it has not been offered to other manufacturers and no dies for mouldings are available. In the meantime, we are considering a separate fuse board which is a standard production, in combination with the L.R.7 Regulator and Cutout. Terminal posts for R.C. Terminals made of Brass B.76 will be provided. Tests must be made to ensure the spennering will not crack this material., R.R. Brass 2151 was found very treacherous in this respect. Proposed six fuses instead of the five provided, cramp them up rather too close and we may have complaints of fuses in between their respective clips. FOOTPITCH. Tools for this can be put in hand as soon as we have completed our tests. It is entirely special for us and will require tooling up for all pieces. CONDENSER. Drawing of R.R. Condenser to be sent to ascertain if any Lucas condenser could be used. GENERAL. Brass B.76 or Alum. Brass NF.2 are used to ensure quick and easy manipulation. Dowler Eyelets and Bifurcated Rivets for speedy assembly. It will be necessary for us to obtain the small riveting and eyeletting machines to get the best out of the proposed arrangement. The foregoing complies in the main with E.1/HP.14.6.37. X Will Ha/Wst., please arrange to discuss the matter again on Tuesday June 22nd., at 3.30 p.m. in E's office. X [Signature] | ||
