I agree to defer this: it has nothing
specially to do with this chassis, and can be applied
any time it is convenient. It is only advisable and
important because it would save the accumulator, save
the loss of water from the battery, and tell the driver
that he had a charge.

You will remember I feared the harm
it might do if it controlled the charge, so only made
it into an indicator, but at present it does not seem
to do this satisfactorily.

I am not sure that it is worth its
addition to the complication and cost, even if it is
right, unless it is definitely needed to save the destruc-
tion of the battery.

Anyway it can be left until it has
proved its worth.
