X.6091. SEQUENCE STARTER FOR 20/25 CHASSIS.

From time to time suggestions have been
made of the use of a simplified sequence starter
for the 20 HP. In this connection we attach copy
of your note R7/M2.11.26. The Bijur engagement,
though an improvement on the original Bendix type,
has never been entirely satisfactory and has been slightly
less so since the advent of the higher compression engine.

We suggest, for your consideration, the
application for the 20/25 of the scheme suggested in
your R1/M21.1.29, which need not necessarily be a
sequence starter but electrically direct, a copy of your
R1/M21.1.29 is attached for your convenience of reference.
