Attention Mr. Skinner.

Dear Sirs,

Re. Petrol Pump Valves.

We have had one or two instances where the above have been badly buckled and therefore not seating properly. We think that probably they have not been flat when assembled or that they are bent when assembling.

Enclosed are two valves which we removed from a pump yesterday, both being on the suction side, and we shall be pleased to have your comments on same, and also to know if you have experienced this trouble when testing.

We shall also be pleased to know if you are yet in a position to supply us with a Commercial type pump for test purposes.

Will you kindly forward us one dozen valves and half a dozen built up diaphragms.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
