Cm. from F.W. LID{A. J. Lidsey} X204, 7/6/33. This is to confirm our telephone conversation this afternoon. ① Open Bentley, to have wheel red, to match the leather, & a fine red line around the spare wheel cover. This:- [Drawing of a spare wheel cover with an arrow pointing to a line around it, labelled "red line"] Unless it is wet I suggest that Sales be shewn the car with the hood down & the cover on it, & also the tonneau cover, as this car is essentially an open car, - the hood being merely a tent to put up when the car is left & it is raining. It is my experience with such bodies on the 3 litre Bentley that one does not put the hood up when driving in rain unless it is torrential. ② I will try to let you have a draft programme of the Wind Tunnel Experiments posted tomorrow.
