Y116.- To HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}1/HP.25.11.32. c. Mr. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Sft.{Mr Swift} re Peregrine. Please receive herewith: LeC.3291 - Improved Crankcase Bottom Half. We have redesigned the bottom half so that it will have a larger oil capacity and more cooling surface, the underneath having cooling ribs. There is one small point we have yet to deal with, and that is the oil level gauge, but this should not hinder the detail drawing being put in hand as soon as possible. We consider this job as being important, because our oil temperatures on Peregrine are abnormally high. [Signature] E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
