Paul Berthon to deliver the car to you early Monday.
In the meantime I sincerely trust you will loan me a car as I shall have a lot of long journeys to do in connection with practice at Brooklands for the International Trophy Race on Sat. May 2nd. You see I shall be coming backwards and forwards to Brooklands from here from Tuesday midday onwards so do please fix me up with a closed car straight away. All being well I will phone you Monday morning.

Yours sincerely

(Sd) Raymond Mays.

The performance of the car is excellent and does not seem to be affected in any way.

The roughness and "thump" are noticeable all the time but mostly when accelerating and even more when de-accelerating.

Another point: All these symptoms seem more pronounced when sitting in the front passengers seat.
