Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Date 8.12.28. Page 2 Experimental Department, but that some are required for customers' cars actually leaving the works in a very short time. We believe that it will be necessary to establish a satisfactory procedure with regard to sending out the chassis, as it is our experience that most of the gauges fitted to your customers' cars have by some means or other got wet lines at the coachbuilders. We think, however, it is only a matter of our co-operating with your production side and the finished car department, to lay down a procedure which will be satisfactory, and ensure the gauges getting into the hands of customers on finished cars in good working order. Assuring you at all times of our best attention, We remain, dear Sirs, Yours faithfully, H.M. HOBSON, Ltd., J.P. Searight Joint Managing Director. | ||
