22nd. November, 1939.

Joseph Sankey & Sons Ltd.,
Hadley Castle Works,
Wellington,
Shropshire.

For the attention of Mr. H.P.Sharpe.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 20th. November.

The wheels we want for Experimental purposes are not required for Government work.

We thought perhaps you might have a set of 4" rims made up which would fit our existing wheel centre. If this should be so we could arrange the fitting of the rims if you would send them to us here.

We would remove the existing 4 1/2" rims if you don't happen to have some of our wheel centres at your Works.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
