The two models of the above jack received for test purposes have the following dimensions :- Model No.155. Minimum height............... 6.45" Jack weight 10 lb.1 oz. Inital hand adjustment....... 2.70" Handle " 3 lbs. Hydraulic lift (2 stages)...... 7.25" TOTAL " 13 lbs.10 oz TOTAL MAXIMUM HEIGHT...........16.40" Model No.156. There is no initial hand adjustment on this Jack. Minimum height............... 7.6" Jack weight 11 lbs. 4 oz. Hydraulic lift...............10.15" Handle " 3 lbs. TOTAL MAXIMUM HEIGHT...........17.75" TOTAL " 14 lbs. 4 ozs The following dimensions are necessary to meet the full requirements of the 40/50 HP. chassis when fitted with 33 X 6.75" tyres (1.5" has been added to the actual dead dimensions to allow for soft or cambered roads). Minimum height............... 6.25" Adjustable initial lift........ 4.25" Mechanical lift................ 7.5" MAXIMUM HEIGHT.................18.0" N.B. The above dimensions apply for cars which are not fitted with the rear axle jacking pads. This fitment allows a reduction of 1.5" from the adjustable initial lift and hence from the maximum height but does not alter the mechanical lift required. contd :- | ||
