S.S. starter motor pinion
We have tested on our bench rig, the completely rounded off pinion by trying a considerable number of engagements at different voltages.
No improvement was noted over the standard arrangement viz sharp engaging rounded disengaging and backed off teeth pinion.
Jamming on engagement was just as frequent and at low voltages more frequent.

This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
