Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. C. S. Steadman.

We are enclosing herewith a report on the two British Goodyear belts that we have tested. You will note that this report follows our earlier one of November 8th.

Confirming our conversation yesterday, we are arranging to conduct further fan tests on your behalf and the plan of testing, as handed to the Laboratory, is as follows:-

1. Variable Pitch Fan.
a) Power to drive whole at 4,500 approx.
b) " " " spindle" " "
c) 5 hrs. endurance at 4,500 approx,

Return fan to Mr. Steadman,
Attempt to define fan angle at 4,500 r.p.m.

2. Short-bladed Duralumin Fan.
a) Power at 4,500 r.p.m.
b) 30 hrs. endurance.
Return fan to Mr. Steadman.

3. Present Big-blade Duralumin Fan.
Endurance tests as standard.

4. If pulleys available for 1,500 r.p.m.,3,000,4,500 r.p.m. to get power curve on small Dural blade fan to compare with the Flexible blade fan.

In 1,2 & 4 Belt testing not involved, so use any suitable belt
In 3 is opportunity for testing American Goodrich & Ferogrip belts."

We trust this will be satisfactory, and remain,
Yours truly,
FERODO LIMITED

Director.
