Dear Sirs,

We have pleasure in enclosing a blue print, SK 477, giving our layout of a Bishop Steering Gear designed to replace the steering of which you have sent us your details. We shall be glad if you will check this over and let us know if a gear made to these dimensions will fit your chassis without trouble.

We should like to point out that it involves a small alteration to your aluminium dashboard as the slot through which the column passes will have to be lengthened, as shown on our drawing, in order to bring the steering wheel in the same position as that occupied by your own. The actual slope of the column is also slightly different owing to the difference in centres between the two gears. It will also involve a new clamp for the bracket at the top of the steering column.

The normal bore of the steering tube on which our cam is mounted is .80", and whereas the top end of your tube is .90", we believe your
