EFC2/T1.7.24. -2- Contd. hours, however, it did not appear to get unduly hot. Taking all things together, the evidence appears to show that the machine must have been running on open circuit due to one of the first two of the four cases, e.g.:- (a) Battery disconnected. (b) Main battery fuse failure. (c) Dirty cutout contacts. (d) Sticking negative brush. The dynamo does not seem to have suffered apart from the commutator konnections having gone, and it should be easy to put this again into good running condition. It will, of course, be necessary to alter the position of the control brush to suit the production test. EFC. | ||
