HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} DY.{F R Danby} ORIGINAL E1/M11.7.31. X7070. EXPERIMENTAL INDUCTION PIPE. We send you herewith LeC. 2927. in accordance with R's instructions, shewing a pipe for P. 2. which can be adapted to produce a number of different induction systems as stated on the drawing. The idea is that you should produce a set of these pipes either by making them up in sheet metal or by casting, to carry on the P. 2. induction research. We note at the same time however from RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s most recent report that you already have some experimental pipes somewhat on these lines, and it will therefore be necessary to decide whether you want this new pipe, or whether you can modify the existing ones.
