BENTLEY

Dear Sirs,

"The Automatic Passenger"

In its present state of development the automobile is unique in its unresponsiveness to the simple instrument measurement of comfort. Because of the complex vibrations set up by a moving car, and the ultimate physiological effect on the passenger, the question of "comfort" measurement is receiving the attention of every progressive car manufacturer interested in improving the quality of the "ride" of his cars.

Probably the most satisfactory method of measuring riding comfort is to utilise an integrating accelerometer mounted on the passenger seat cushion - and therefore receiving the same forces as those affecting the passenger. We are manufacturers of such an instrument, and while drawing your attention to the enclosed leaflet, we would emphasise that we are very willing to demonstrate this instrument at your convenience.

May we have the pleasure of telling you more about this apparatus?

Yours faithfully,
C.H.Perkins

C.H. PERKINS.
