6 ort Experimental Dept. RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}12/MH.{M. Huckerby} 30th. June, 1939. Messrs. Park Ward & Co. Ltd., 473, High Road, WILLESDEN, London, N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. Ward. Dear Sirs, We are sending down to you tomorrow 25.G.VI car for you to investigate the terrific amount of movement we have at the scuttle. Whilst you have this car we would like you to repair all the four wings where necessary, and repaint same. The body has been rubbed down so many times with polishing paste that we feel we have rubbed nearly all the paint away, and suggest that you give the body say, 2 coats of paint just sufficient to make it respectable for the remainder of the life of the car with us. If you could do anything with the veneer work inside the body without spending a lot of money, we would like you to have a go at this also. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
