contained on your Drawing, reference above, that you propose to use oil supply by a central lubricating system, and in this regard take it that precautions will be taken to see that excess lubricant is not drawn out into the internal parts of the clutch as it is essential for the driven plate facings to be kept dry and free from oil or grease.

We understand that samples of both 10" and 11.A3 clutches will be required in the near future and shall therefore appreciate hearing from you in due course regarding same, and also the actual torque output of the engine to which same will be applied.

We believe that it is your intention to utilise the same flywheel for both 10" and 11" clutches, but would call to your attention that if our 10" clutch is applied to theflywheel as outlined on theDrawing indicated above there is a possibility of the clutch retaining set screws breaking through the rim portion. Furthermore, although not indicated on your Drawing we take it that the use of one dowel as a means of definitely positioning clutch cover in relation to its particular flywheel will be adopted as previously suggested by us.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times,

Yours faithfully,

BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED
