X20 AW/SM/5/L.22413 April 22nd. 1913 Report on Chassis 2301 HELSBY TYRES - X.315 :- These tyres have been tested as a result of Mr Johnson's suggestion, based on a favourable report having been issued by Mr Stewart Burt in connection with chassis 1945 Loeffler. Mr Hives says that they are not good for resiliency, the tread is very hard, and when testing the car over pot-holes it was not very good. He suggests that if the springing of the car is not very satisfactory the tyres should be changed first. R R.{Sir Henry Royce} TYPY (1000) (JT 480 12 8 12) 21 30/12 | ||
