contd :- -3- factor is now rather too high. The main difficulty is that when an axle drops suddenly into a pot-hole its velocity is momentarily almost as high as when the whole car is moving through large amplitudes at the relatively slow spring periodicity We think that with the semi elliptic springs on 14-EX we have now got a suspension which gives equal if not better performance than that of the standard 40/50 HP.
