To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}1/KW.25.2.35. Duron Servo Linings submitted for Test. We have tested both linings and the results are as follows :- Duron G.5579 Woven Material gives a high output when cold but has a marked fading characteristic, namely, 45%, which makes it unsuitable for use on cars. It neither squeaks nor smells objectionably. Duron G.55679 Moulded Material is deficient in strength, both samples disintegrating on their first test run. It also squeaks and smells objectionably. The output tends to rise with temperature increase. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/A.F.Martindale. | ||
