| GRY{Shadwell Grylls} 8337 E/HDY.{William Hardy}3/HP.26.10.36. Phantom III Propeller Shaft. We send herewith N.Sch. 4928 showing the Spicer type propeller shaft for this car. The bolts for the flanges are to be a push fit (as for our present Mechanics shafts) as they may then be safely made .312 diameter, we think, whereas with clearance holes .375 bolts would appear to be necessary. The tube is 3.125 o/d x .064 thickness as required for the long wheelbase chassis. N.Sch.4928 herewith. E/HDY.{William Hardy} | ||
