"RECTASKID".

With reference to CJ2/E7.3.24. We have already
been in communication with the makers of the Rectaskid
device. We know the construction but we cannot see how
it can prevent the car from skidding. I have discussed
this with RG.{Mr Rowledge} and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and they cannot see any justification
for the claims.

We asked the Rectaskid Co. for a technical explan-
ation of how the device prevented the skidding but in
their reply they did not answer the question but said
they were prepared to demonstrate the advantages of the
device fitted to a 40/50 RR. car.

In order to satisfy ourselves whether there is
anything in their claims, we propose now to take advantage
of their offer.
