With reference to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std8/AP.22.3.38., on the
subject of Belts for the above. As some of the Cars to
which these Fans have been fitted are used in and around
London, it is quite likely that sooner or later we shall
receive a request to replace the Fan Belts.

We have had a word with the British Goodrich
Co. who have offered to obtain six Belts from the Burton Works
and hold them on London in readiness. We presume, however,
you will wish to place an Order that is of course if you have
not already done so, and no doubt you will let us have two or
three so that we are in a position to deal with any
emergency.
