X4553 X4027 X5610 LUBRICATION OF CHASSIS CRANKSHAFTS. ------------------------------- I would suggest that before we put a modification through to increase the number of holes in the journals from 1 to 3 per journal that it would be advisable to try it on Peregrine and Bensport cranks in the first place. I am therefore holding up the alteration until you have checked that there is no chance of over-oiling occurring. Personally, I think that the quantity of oil thrown about will not materially increase, if it does, it might then mean that we could work with slightly less clearances, but with a very plentiful oil supply.
