ENDURANCE TEST OF LUBRICATED CONTINENTAL BAKELITE RUBBING BLOCK.

The endurance test of the bakelite rubbing block lubricated is now finished.

As near as possible the same treatment was allowed this as was given to the grey fibre block on a similar test, i.e. the cam was given an initial smearing, and the well at the base of the cam pillar filled with oil, - twice during the run this well was filled.

The spring pressure was 1.0 lbs.

The maximum wear of the block was found to be .004" from .257" to .253".

Attached is the lever with the block fitted.
