Description of Parts. 7% LOWER REAR AXLE RATIO - 10/43.
Origin. To obtain acceleration with heavier type bodies.
Report of Experimental Test.
Fitted to 5-B-IV and ran 12,000 miles in France. The axle gave no indication of deterioration. It has not yet been dismantled for examination of teeth bearings, etc.
To be used in special cases where acceleration is preferred to maximum speed.
