X3695 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/LG. 16th. Feb. 1923. Messrs. Negretti & Zambra, 38 Holborn Viaduct, London E.C.1. Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of the Acrometer which we ordered from you, and find that the scale of the gauge is very much smaller than we anticipated. You will recollect that we originally asked for a 0 to 250 lbs. range, but that you were unable to supply it. We wish to use the gauge for taking compressions cold, and we do not expect to record pressures above 100 lbs. We should like to know if you cannot supply us with a gauge to fit the existing attachment in lieu of the one we received - one similar to the appended illustration, or of even larger scale, would be suitable. Yours faithfully, | ||
