X.677 Motor Car Licenses for 1922. F.H. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} H.A. D/LL/BS.{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager}12.21. We attach a list of the present motor car licenses in existence for your Department, all of which expire on the 31st instant. Please let us know which of these require renewing for next year, and if any should only be renewed for a period of three months, please state so. Also please add to the list any other cars for which licenses (either for three or twelve months) are required, stating the period. In regard to general identification marks, if less are required for 1922 than are at present in existence, the number plates will have to be returned to the licensing authority. Concerning Sales Department, we also attach a list of male servants for whom license have been taken out. If any alteration has been made to any vehicle, of which we have not been notified, we should be advised, so that the Registration Book can be amended accordingly by the licensing authority. Information should be submitted in time for us to obtain financial [struck through] approval and get the licenses from the authority and circulate them by January 1st.
