Dear Sirs, We are sending you today two samples of Lubricating oils each sample being contained in two tins; the two tins marked No. 1 being engine oil and those marked No. 2 being gear oil. We shall be glad if you will test these as regards the following points:- Engine Oil (Sample No. 1) Specific gravity. Viscosity at 60° F and 212°F Redwood. Flash point (Close). Evaporation. Acidity. Composition. Gear Oil. (Sample No. 2) Viscosity at 60° F and 130° F.{Mr Friese} Percentage of water if any. Composition. Any further test which you can suggest. | ||
