London, W.1.

Dear Mr. Macintosh,

I am very sorry that I did not let you know about the car on Monday last. I find, on looking through the files, that I did not write to you as I thought, and I apologise if you have been inconvenienced.

I shall certainly be in London again very shortly, when I hope to be able to let you try our new product. At the same time, per-haps I shall be able to handle the V.8.

With regard to the Lincoln, I have discussed the matter with our Administration who at present do not wish to purchase. Thank you very much for the trouble you took in letting us try this car.

If, on your way north at any time, you have the opportunity to visit our works, I shall be very pleased to arrange to take you round and show you anything of interest.

Yours sincerely,
