Dear Sirs, Re Order No. 20745 BERKSHIRE 3-BLADED WIPER. In accordance with instructions received from Mr. Honeyman, this is being forwarded to you to-day for your inspection, and we understand that when you have finished with same, you will be sending it to Messrs. Park, Ward & Co., for them to mount on to the Body which they are building for you. You will note that whereas originally the job came to us marked for 22" centres, we have altered it to 21" and this meets with Mr. Honeyman's approval. Our object in so doing was to get a bigger inter-section in the centre of the Screen at the sacrifice of a very small amount of wiping on the Passenger's side, which is really too far over to affect the Driver's vision. Other than that, we have of course worked exactly to the instructions given us, and it will be appreciated that it would be a perfectly simple matter to put it back to 22" centres if so instructed. Assuring you of every attention, Yours faithfully, THE HOUDAILLE HYDRAULIC SUSPENSION CO. LTD. [Signature] C. Defries Managing Director.
