SpectreCodename for Phantom III Servo.

There have been three schemes issued for the new SpectreCodename for Phantom III servo and one of these, namely, method No. 1 shown on N.Sch.4289, we do not consider worth trying.

It has taken us some years to do away with rivetting or stapling of the linings, and so prevent handling of the linings by dirty hands.

Method No. 2 on N.Sch.4289, with female splines in the linings, was evolved because Ferodos tell us that the price of such a lining is exactly half of that of the lining with male splines. On the other hand the machining of the metal parts may be more expensive. We therefore leave it to you as to which of the 2 schemes of splined linings you instruct for our experimental chassis.
