Huckerby} Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letter of the 31st ultimo in reference to the length of 3" bore flexible car heater and defroster connecting hose recently supplied to you and we regret to note that this material is not satisfactory, due to the internal wiring having broken loose resulting in the hose collapsing. There is no doubt that this is due to the fragile nature of the material supplied to you and we are, therefore, putting in hand a further 6 foot length of a stouter constructioned hose and shall submit this to you in 4/5 days time. Unfortunately we are unable to replace the material already in your possession as we are unable to re-fit the internal wiring. Regarding the sample of Tee hose connection mentioned in your letter we would inform you that we are encountering difficulties which we did not expect when you first wrote us in connection with this matter, but we would assure you that every effort is being made to make a satisfactory connection for you. We have found it necessary to make an alteration to the plant on several occasions but we hope to submit a sample to you within the course of the next few days.
