X108 S/W To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Peregrine Carburetters. Sg{Arthur F. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}Hdy.{William Hardy}EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}PN.{Mr Northey} Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/KT/26.5.33 it seems to me that we must persevere with the RR carburetter for Peregrine as I do not think we can seriously consider producing it with S.U.carburetters for policy reasons. It was on account of policy reasons that we eventually decided against two S.U's on the Continental Phantom, our eventual conclusion being that two S.U's were advisable for the Bentley but not for the RR.
