SU. Petrol Pump Magnet Pots.

Will you please arrange to complete a further 24 magnet pots for the S.U. high pressure petrol pump. The 24 already made have been supplied as 12 pumps and this will complete the order for 24 pumps outstanding from last October and for which you agreed to make the pots. The S.U. Company are now waiting for them and we would be glad if you would complete and despatch them as soon as possible.

We understand from the drawing office that the works are unwilling to make the pots to the limits on the S.U. drawing and have asked for the limits to be revised, we would like to point out that these fine limits are essential and the S.U. Co. work to them.

In one of the complete pumps which I have examined the chamfered edge on the largest diameter in the pot mouth has been carried too far leaving unsufficient depth of face for the rollers. All dimensions and limits must be adhered to, or the pot is scrap.
