The following notes were taken during Mr. Wormald's and my visit to Mr. Royce:-

X.3476 WHEELS.

X.3482. Mr. Royce is very keen on the Michelin disc wheel.
They are his favourite. After this he considers the Rudge Whitworth would be better than the Dunlon.

X.3374. DYNAMO. X.294. X.805 X.3412.

Mr. Royce did not consider we should worry with Newton Bros. dynamo. He did not think they would produce a good enough quality job to suit us. He also considered the divided responsibility of the dynamo and the regulator would be bad. Ultimately we shall produce our own dynamos but for the first cars we shall have to buy them. We suggested that we should apply to all likely makers of dynamos and see what they have to offer. We should aks the makers of the dynamos to supply a switchboard which is fitted with a Weston Amp Meter. It should also have 3 switches - one for dynamo, another for side and tail lamp, and another for head lamps. Beside these 3 switches there should be connections provided on the switch board so that we can connect up to (1) Flexon Horn (2) battery ignition (3) starter press button switch and (4) inside lighting. Fuses should be provided on each connection.
