High Compression Cylinder Head - Paris Trials Car. We have now heard from Sr. with regard to the high compression head fitted to Poberejsky's car, and he has asked that this head shall be fitted to GSF-5, the new Paris demonstration car. Hancock was not very enthusiastic about the results obtained. We consider, however, that in view of Sr's request it is worth fitting this high compression head to the Trials car and getting accurate figures as to its performance compared with other standard chassis before letting it leave the Works. We know of no other way of helping Sr. with performance. As previously pointed out, the other parts which are necessary with this high compression head are - (1) Bentley ignition advance characteristics. (2) Special sparking plugs. We attach curves showing the improvement in power output measured with the high compression cylinder head. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
