Updating an auto switch on chassis 8-EX and the required wiring modifications.

Herewith we hand to you one of the earlier type auto switches which we have brought up-to-date. Would you please have this put on 8-EX in place of the old type auto switch at present thereon (which please return to us), and connected up in accordance with the attached diagram. In this case a new and additional wire from the distribution board to the cutout is not necessary, but it will be necessary to make the small alteration of disconnecting the wire at present leading from the distribution box terminal B to the cutout shunt coil, and connecting this wire to distribution box terminal C. (You will remember we had this done on chassis 14-EX quite independently and before we had put on the auto switch). | ||
