HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to BJ. " WCR. " BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL R3M17.10.28. 'SS{S. Smith}' ENGINE. X7080 X7771 /X7070 Regarding 'SS{S. Smith}' engine, apparently owing to the importance of the aero engine work, we fear that the development of the former, and its carburetters and induction pipes, have been pushed into the background. It would seem that we ought to have sufficient capacity to keep the work moving. For instance, we have never seen a chart of the HP. with the standard carburetter compar- ed{J. L. Edwards} with the present engine on equal lines. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
