Messrs. Lucas Ltd. -2- As you are aware, there is a real chance of Luvax shock absorbers being used on the model in question. We would therefore ask you if you would make an effort to improve the N.P. type shock absorber to make it acceptable to us, which we are sure you will be able to do if you will get an indicator running. At the same time will you please send your drawings of the spring loaded valves as incorporated on the two shock absorbers submitted to us to Mr. Elliott at Derby so that he can make any suggestions as to a means of improving the arrangement. We understand that your drawing number was 9002/112. We are returning to you one shock absorber with spring loaded valve which you submitted to us as it may be useful to you when carrying out further work. Mr. Elliott wishes to keep the second N.P. type shock absorber for reference unless you urgently require it for development. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
