We beg to acknowledge receipt of your esteemed memo of the 8th inst., ref:-HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG EXPL: DEPT? relative to a specially nickel plated wheel.

This matter has been handed over to Mr. Bond, and is now quite clear.

The matter mentioned in your last paragraph unfortunately became confused with the first one, but everything has now been straightened out, and regret having troubled you in error with a matter regarding which you were not familiar.
