June 1937 Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd. DERBY. For the attention of Mr. Leslie. Experimental Dept. Dear Mr. Leslie, We enclose herewith our drawing No. 470 Z showing arm with Roll Rod Boss for chassis 33 EX and we should be obliged if you would confirm that these will be suitable for your requirements. Forgings can then be ordered. The set of shock absorbers for 6.B.I.V. are well on the way towards completion and we see no reason at the moment, why these should not be despatched to you tonight. You will notice that one of these shock absorbers is marked 'not standard', this is due to the fact that we had a slight accident and were obliged to open out one of the valve holes slightly. Yours faithfully, p.p. ARMSTRONG'S PATENTS CO. LTD. HBogg | ||
