Description of Parts. SWITCHBOX FOR USE WITH TWO-RATE CHARGE SCHEME PROVIDING FOR FULL DYNAMO OUTPUT IN S & T POSITION AS WELL AS IN H S & T POSITION.
Origin. The fact that it only is important to reduce the dynamo output when no lighting is used.
Experimental Test Report.
A switchbox of this type has been fitted to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car 58-GN and on preliminary test at Derby operated satisfactorily.

I cannot see exactly how it saves the dynamo sufficiently to make any practical difference. Also I have seen no report on my suggestion of the possibility of maintaining the rate of charge with speed, by using another position of third brush, probably no advantage in my suggestion but I should like it examined.
