Dear Taub,

Thank you so much for the interesting time you gave me yesterday. I think you have done a very excellent job getting your tank engine to a production stage so rapidly, and being able to run at 6 1/2/1 on 75 octane fuel is certainly a remarkable achievement.

I thought your 18 h.p. Experimental car was delightful. If you ever put this on the market, we shall have to look to our laurels.

The axle of our 10 h.p. is now passable. The engine is still rough and we should like to take advantage of your offer to send us a flywheel which we can fit, to overcome the trouble.

I was glad to have the details of your sodium cooled valves. I find that we have made a number, drilled down to the stem from the top, but we have not run fully sodium cooled valves with welded heads. Incidentally, have you any information as to the correct amount of sodium to put in a side valve, as opposed to an overhead valve? It seemed to us that a different quantity might be necessary in order to get optimum results.

If you manage to get time to come and see us before you go to America, I shall be very pleased to put you up for the night.

Yours sincerely,
