PHANTOM 111 CRANKSHAFT.

We wish to try a crankshaft having less balance weight as a way of reducing the torsional period. We send you herewith SK.5021 (E.86189 altered) showing how an existing crankshaft can be modified. Only the end view has been altered but the modifications shown apply of course to the four large weights 3.160 rad. and the 4 small weights 3.070 rad.

Will you please modify the crank. in No.15 unit to this drawing between the initial running on the bed and fitting to 38-EX.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/H.Grylls.
