We have now got the petrol system fitted up as follows :- (1) Main petrol pipe running in the frame on the offside away from the exhaust. (2) Petrol pumps on steering column. (3) Filter on dashboard on level with pump. (4) No pipe lines across the dash main pipe direct to filter, cutting out petrol cock. (5) No reserve. Under these conditions the vapour trouble has been cut down 85%. After hard running and coming to rest, one pump goes on for approx. 20 seconds, then is normal. There is no failure of the petrol supply. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
