S.U. PETROL PUMP.

The petrol pumps failed during the last 500 miles through the diaphragms becoming loose on the spindles. Also the nuts holding the pump on to the valve chamber became loose, allowing air to be drawn in. We had a stoppage on the road to cure petrol leaking from the pumps.

BODY WORK - LIMOUSINE BY PARK WARD.

The body became full of rattles, the doors dropped through insufficient support of the body. On the nearside we had to re-pack the body up to bring the doors so that they would close. The instrument board worked loose through wood screws falling out. The rear doors shattered. The front and rear wings became loose and rattled. The front wings broke adrift from the running boards and the stone guards frequently became loose. Water entered through the windscreen.
