Further to our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}5/G.14.2.39 regarding the above, Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} has inspected the bearings in 8.B.V. after covering approximately 25,000 miles in France and reports that they are in excellent condition. In view of this, together with a satisfactory test bed endurance these main bearings can be released for production both for the Wraith III and the Bentley V.{VIENNA} Other than testing the sets submitted to us we have had no dealings with the procedure of manufacturing these bearings.
