Description of scheme: The scheme shows the welding construction of the front end. Major parts affected: Frame to be 14 S.W.G. (.080). Hole in front pan for side steering lever modified. Bottom plate welded to pan modified to clear frame. Stiffeners in front pan adjacent to spring pots redesigned to facilitate welding. Front end of sump modified to clear cross steering tubes. Bolt in ball joint on side steering here at front end modified to increase clearance between ball joint and pan. Front engine mounting brackets RF.722/3 modified.
